"We love this place! The staff is always totally friendly, and the dogs clearly love being there. Mine is normally trembling with excitement waiting at the door to get in. If that’s not the best sign of a dog being comfortable somewhere, I don’t know what is. You won’t find a better dog bath anywhere either. Depending on your breed, it’s possible whoever has washed your dog in the past hasn’t made it all the way down to the skin with a good scrubbing… I have a Labrador retriever with somewhere between three and four layers of fur (it’s best suited for swimming in cold water/oceans, sea fairing dogs back in the day), and he looks and smells amazing long after his bath from another dog day. I can tell the oils and odor have been removed from his skin. Give them a chance, if you have a friendly, outgoing dog, it’ll thank you."
