They were absolutely top notch from the initial survey of the property to the very professional team who performed the complex installation like a team of surgeons . "I had Mid-Coast out to speak with me about my water heater that was giving off an sulfur smell due to corrosion of the Magnesium anodes. I was told to simply have the anodes changed to aluminum. This was a positive initial consult. The work was scheduled and 2 techs came out to do a 1 person job that took 10 minutes. They charged me 1.5 hours x 2 techs at $100/hour. They replaced one of the anodes with aluminum and the other with a magnesium anode, exactly what they told me that I should not have in the tank if it was going to sit for any amount of time. I called to inquire about the bill, (excessive technician time), as well as the fact that they did not replace the 2 anodes with aluminum, (as suggested). The manager who helped me was nice enough, and told me he'd look into it. He called me back and left me a message and told me to give him a shout back, which I did, several times, (with no return call). When I finally got to him after 5 tries, (VM left each time), he told me the company was standing it's ground on the bill. I do not recommend Mid-Coast. Buyer beware...they grossly overcharge and were not flexible when I told them they installed the wrong anode."

"Had a leak in our water meter in the basement and the old shutoff valve would not work. Called and scheduled a service. The technician (James) arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and handled calling the water company to shut off the water. He replaced the old valves, installed a new water meter and added a bypass for a water filter that I requested. James was polite, efficient and left the area as clean as it was when he arrived. He did a beautiful job on the repair. Highly recommended!"
