"Not a fan of this doctors office. They don’t treat people on a human level. Very unprofessional and understaffed. You will not prioritized here whatsoever."
"Prescribed baclofen to a diabetic despite dispensing MTHFR materials acknowledging type 2 diabetes as a possible co-illness. Excuse: Covid. My wife could easily have told you ON THE PHONE she had become a type 2 diabetic before your prescribing. All you had to do was CHECK. Just because you cannot see a patient does not mean he or she no longer needs your vigilance or that new conditions they are aware of do not develop!!! Yes, she was already seriously ill, but whether this error cost five seconds, five minutes, five hours, five days, five weeks, five months or five years, your prescription took her from us. ER staff could not believe the extreme levels of ketoacidosis. Your actions, while extremely compassionate overall, fell by the wayside with deeply grievous effect and your statement you prescribe drugs with interactions such as what killed my wife “all the time” is nothing short of alarming. You never even mentioned checking for illnesses causing reactions, and not only does baclofen react very poorly with oxycodone, but it does react with gabapentin, medical cannabis, rheumatoid issues (which you were well aware of with Lyme and suspected Rocky Mountain spotted fever), and also, very poorly again, diabetes. That list is extremely disturbing given her existing regimen and conditions. I have kept my mouth shut while shredding and returning 6,000 bills, documents, cards and letters. While liquidating many sweet, charming reminders of her due to a forced house sale. While disposing of her clothing and Christmas decorations, storing away love notes that have stopped, saying farewell to her family for good. I can no longer. Your dismissal of this as fate is an insulting deflection. My wife herself said if anything happened it was the baclofen, baclofen YOU prescribed in a dose you trusted an admittedly unfocused phone consultee to handle. And she never told me you warned her to keep oxy and baclofen dose times separate. It is obvious you loved her and many others as patients, but your love or professional vigilance did not go far enough in her final week. I cannot recommend you to anyone vulnerable with critically important prescription needs. In closing I will say you have been spared sights, feelings, and losses that over a hundred family and friends have felt. I would give all I have to show you a single second in critical care, but after your mistake, you do not deserve another second with my sweetheart."
"I have seen Dr. Laura Hudson for over 4 years. I have to say that I have never had a PCP listen to me like Laura does. She spends the time with me, she does not rush me out of the office to get to the next person. She follows up with me and believe me there is no stone left unturned. She does what she does because she cares. There is no big pharma or big corporation running this practice. It's just a group of caring women that believe in doing the next right thing. I believe this is what medical practices have been missing."
"I’m 56 years old and never had better care from a primary care physician. Dr. Laura Hudson really knows her stuff and is able to give detailed explanations and looks at the whole picture instead of just a narrow view. She has empathy and takes the time to review records carefully and discuss them with me. She is a genius healthcare practitioner."
"They truly listen and want to help. Great staff across the board."
