"I have been seeing Dr. Hochberg for about 6 or 7 years. He's very empathetic, very personal, knows your case well and works with you to accomplish both your best health goals and your personal needs. He also addresses your concerns and will bend normal procedures to make you feel as though your input is important, too. My only "criticism" is he is a realist and will let you know your non-Hodgkins lymphoma always returns. I asked him to stop reminding me (lol). After we crossed that bridge, he has never reminded me. I really like working with him. Thanks to his clinical trial, I have been in remission for almost 7 years, a near record according to him! He's on top of new procedures/advances in his specialties of cancer and he is extremely personable. He doesn't just know your cancer, he really gets to know YOU! Thanks to his advice to "live your life," I have been pursuing a passion of traveling for the past 5 years, taking more than 6 or 7 large trips a year. I feel wonderful. He makes me feel secure and I enjoy our visits. Anyone would enjoy working with such an enlightened, personable, smart and knowledgeable doctor."
