"The Brainery is for everyone. Thaty has created a community that is firmly grounded in the current research based practices. Thaty thoughtfully prepares and delivers content in a fun and immersive manner. It is a welcoming, close knit community that encourages learning through a growth mindset. Just this month I participated in four amazing workshops: Raising No Average Kids, LinkedIn for Nannies, The Art of Engagement and Interaction, and Not All Stress is Created Equal. Each class has brought something new that I can add to my caregiving tool kit. In Raising No Average Kids we learned about setting children up for success using high expectations and an engaging learning environment. The LinkedIn for Nannies class is phenomenal and it will push you to the next level. Did you know that you can customize your LinkedIn website ULR? The Art of Engagement and Interaction was one of my favorites because of the small group conversation. Learning from your peers is a fundamental element to The Brainery. I just finished the live class Not all Stress is Created Equal and learned about the ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences). Each class I learn several new concepts. I appreciate Thaty condensing the information gained in her graduate courses into phenomenal hour long seminars. They are perfect for the busy caregiver. The classes are recorded, but I would encourage you to participate live to have your questions answered in real time. I have taken numerous professional development courses and this program is one of the finest."
"Thaty worked as a night nurse for us for several weeks when my husband and I just needed some rest and relief from a fussy baby. Thaty was absolutley fantastic. I trusted her instantly, and her insights were invaluable to help get through some exhausting times. Our son is now sleeping through the night! I would reccommend Thaty to anyone."
"Thaty cared for our baby starting at 4 months old up through about 13 months old. I can't say enough about what an amazing caregiver Thaty is. I don't know how we would have survived that first year without her--she was a huge source of stability and support for us as first-time parents. Thaty is super knowledgeable about every aspect of baby care and helped us figure out sleep schedules and feeding, while always paying attention to our preferences and needs. She's read all the books, and taken all the courses, but also just has a huge amount of experience with kids. I often looked forward to hearing Thaty's advice on some new challenge that had come up. She is warm and caring and really loves what she does. She was always coming up with creative educational things to do with our kid. She planned adventures, organized playdates, and even Marie Kondo'ed our baby dresser. We always felt completely confident leaving our child in her care. We also really appreciated that Thaty is an activist. She is committed to the kids she takes care of, and also to the other nannies and other domestic workers she fights for through her activist and mentoring work."
"As soon as l heard about this, l was on fire to attend! I was lucky enough to go this summer and it was an amazing springboard for both my confidence and my career! As a nanny of 20+years in the Boston area, of course l believe in myself and my services. However, l am learning that learning never stops. And when l left the class, I was able to pinpoint exactly what it was that made me a strong nanny candidate! I discovered hidden talents within myself and made a friend for life in class. Evey nanny needs to attend this class to learn to celebrate themselves, ask for what we are worth and deliver top notch care!!! It is no exaggeration to say that my career got a huge boost as a direct result of this class."
