"The potential to be stuck on a boat tour with someone you either a) don't trust or b) don't like seems likely. Captain Joe is not only a great boat driver and tour guide, but he is a phenomenal person. He went out of his way to accommodate us for the 1 day we had available in Tampa-- even fighting to get his boat back early from a routine service so he could take us out. We went all around Tampa bay area and not only was the view beautiful and the boat basically brand new (he just got his new Florida boat in 2018) but Joe Pistone's humor and personality made our time extra exceptional. He is a Brooklyn guy with attitude and manners all rolled into the perfect package. Better still, he is passionate about the sea and doing good by other humans (evident by his former career as a social worker and wrestling coach!). Combined with his reasonable prices (I never thought I could charter a private ride like this) I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him and his small business. "Me and my girlfriend went for a private tour today and even though we had a pocket of rain, captain Joe was very professional and rerouted and was able to adapt to the weather for the tour so we could still see the light houses before getting wet. extremely knowledgeable and very friendly.
