"A wonderful, family friendly park in Portland, Maine. It's where the Bug Light lighthouse is located, visitors can learn about the Liberty Ships of WWII, and the views of the bay and islands that surround Portland are just magnificent."

"This is one of my favorite spots to go look at the ocean great views of Fort gorgeous and the lighthouse and all the maritime boats going in and out nice place to have a picnic you can fly kites there ride your bike go for a walk"

"9/30/23 - What a cute light house. I loved the view and it wasn't crowded at all. Definitely ensure you are wearing the right shoes. Walking up to the lighthouse is very uneven and basically walking over rigged rocks. Happy we got to see it and the scenery."

"Lovely little lighthouse. Beautiful open space and walking path. There is a slightly rocky but still relatively safe walkway to the actually lighthouse. Just watch your step! If you can get out there with some nice weather, it’s absolutely gorgeous. And if you’re into learning some history, take a little walk over to the liberty ship memorial. Some great reads and new facts to learn, at least for us!"

"This lighthouse is beautiful! There is an uneven path leading up to the lighthouse. We were able to walk right up to the lighthouse and enjoy the view. There is some graffiti on the lighthouse but unless you're super close you can't tell. We were able to see sail boats, seagulls, and a few other birds! The lighthouse is easy to get to and there is parking at Bug Light Park as well as a small pay-to-park lot right by the lot. Overall, a must see."
