"These guys are the best! The owner himself goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy with your purchase. I'm a new hot tub owner and the breaker my hot tub is on started randomly tripping. I incorrectly assumed something was wrong with the hot tub and reached out to Skillful Home Recreation for help. AJ, the owner, personally came out the next day to resolve the issue. Turns out the expensive "professional" electrician I hired to do the electrical got sloppy and stripped the set screw that holds the neutral wire in place behind the panel on the breaker. If AJ hadn't found this I would've had to cough up probably $500 to get the electrician to come back out to fix his screw up. AJ didn't charge me a dime! We also bought a playset from him that my daughter absolutely loves. I highly recommend Skillful Home Recreation, best products and customer service available."

"We went to Skillful Home Rec looking for a foosball table, and Tim kindly let us play on several tables for over an hour as we tried to figure out which one we wanted to buy! They didn't have all the options they sell on the floor, but he emailed us the full list so we could look online. We ended up ordering a Brunswick Billiards foosball table and because it was in stock, they were able to deliver it and set it up for $150 a little over a week later. Two men showed up when they delivered it and put it together. Based on the hammering coming from the basement, we thought it was a good thing we hired somebody to assemble it. However, when we went to play that night, we discovered that not only did they put the foosball men on the poles facing the wrong direction, they also set it up so that you would be scoring on the opposite goal that is standard play. They also took a large chunk out of the floor when they were assembling it. We emailed Tim immediately, and he got back to us immediately the following morning with two options to rectify it: we could order a completely new one and it would arrive in 3-4 weeks, or we could take the floor model and he would offer a $100 discount. Because we were so excited to play, we took the floor model and they delivered it the following day! We really appreciate that Tim made the effort to fix the problem and provide excellent customer service. We have really enjoyed our foosball table and if we ever add another game to our collection, we will definitely go to Skillful Home Recreation!"

"Our experience with AJ and Tim from Skillful Home was amazing. In February, we were looking for a spa that'd offer a bunch of specifics and had settled on trying out Bullfrog. Hunting around, we came across Skillful Home as a dealer and made an appointment to check things out. It was great - they privately ran through a bunch of factors with us and clearly knew the ins and outs of each option. They recommended we come back for a "wet test" of an Bullfrog A8L that they have in a private room, and we did that the following week. They were very accommodating, allowing us to have the room to ourselves without any kind of salesy pitches at all - throughout, they were very good about letting us reach our own choices without pressure (which is the opposite of some other places we'd visited). We purchased a Bullfrog A8 with them in February. AJ and Tim communicated timelines clearly, kept in touch during the order process, and included several features that normally would've been upcharges to make sure we'd have a great experience with our new tub. Their delivery guys came right on time the morning of delivery and worked around a challenging hill and set of hedges to get the tub installed. Despite it raining during delivery, they did an excellent job taking their time positioning the system and giving us a full rundown of how to fill, do initial treatment, etc. I'd highly recommend Skillful Home for purchasing a spa. They have great products, a fantastic shopping experience, consistent communication, generous pricing, and ultimately an all-around solid experience for a big purchase."

I have been researching these tubs for a few years and was so excited when Skillful became the only authorized dealer in Maine. Dealing with AJ, Tim and Tiffany was an absolute pleasure.
