"The bat has a decent science vibe with the lab top bar and lab stool seats. Staff are friendly. It’s primarily a beer bar, though you can get a vodka soda for example. The cider is strong. It’s a bit hard to read the menu when it’s up so high. The bathrooms are handy cap accessible but there is a bit of a step to get into the bar. Go if you’re into the science vibes and some beer."

"This was my first time there in a while and I miss when it was a slightly upscale, science-themed burger place rather than another MIT bar. Good place to rowdily enjoy a beer with friends; not a great place to have a meal and a conversation. Burgers were good, but they used to have a lot more variety in the burgers and most of the menu is other bar food fare now. Also I wish there was a way to read the menu besides squinting at the board - even a QR code would be nice!"

"Great atmosphere, staff was super friendly and helpful. We sat over to the left of the bar as you walk in and could people watch late at night which was a lot of fun. Beer menu is right above the entrance and the food list is on the wall to the right of the bar. The bar gave off a great friendly neighborhood bar vibe which we all Loved. Prices were great too, on the cheap side. Would def come back here."

"We discovered this place when I was showing friends around town, and it's going to be a regular haunt for sure. The food and drinks were phenomenal, and the atmosphere was lively without feeling too crowded. Wait staff was delightful. Definitely a new favorite in the Boston area. Try the beef skewers!"
