"This is a Cambridge staple, but I find that their food is not evolving and favors quantity versus quality. The mac and cheese had a lot of sauce but it was just basically a white sauce semi flavorless that needed lots of salt and extra parmesan cheese to bring any flavor. The burgers are good but the bread could be toasted, avoiding the soaking of the juices and adding a nice essential crunch. The beer selection is wide and deep and the atmosphere is boisterous-pub but not too heavily in the sports direction."

"I visited Cambridge Common with a friend this past Tuesday 10/31 and had a great experience. In particular, the hostess with glasses was warm and friendly, anticipating our needs as we sat down at the bar — she noticed we were missing a drinks menu and immediately grabbed another for us before we had to ask. The bartender on shift was also great, getting our drinks promptly and checking in several times throughout our time at the bar. My friend and I both ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup, subbing the fries for Caesar salad. For an $11 entree, we got so much food, I was happily surprised. The atmosphere was good, the patrons a mix of families, friends, and couples. I will definitely be coming back."

"Came here on a Sunday around 11am for brunch with a few friends. I would describe this place as a "pub" - big long bar to get drinks with lots and lots of seating - some tables, some booths. We didn't have to wait long for a table which was great. I can only comment on their Sunday brunch menu but we all thought it was a great place for a decent weekend brunch. There were also lots of interesting beers on tap but alas, it was a Sunday morning after a night of fun so we were all recovering a bit. The staff were also very friendly! I would definitely recommend this place for those interested in Sunday brunch, interesting brews, and larger parties!"
