Foxcroft Apartments

"Mold and mice are the problems here. I am very sensitive to mold and there was remnants of an issue on the ceiling in bathroom and in a closet in bedroom. Did a surface test which showed an issue. Humidity in summer is extremely high and moisture comes up through the first story floors. Also grows on the kitchen cabinets. Found mold growth behind the toilet tank and on the the tank itself underneath. Mold was growing under the shelves in upstairs closet. Mice are in storage unit and destroyed an heirloom hook rug that was in a plastic storage bin. Mice are in the walls as well. Cat pointed them out to me by staring at wall and caught two while I was there for 2 years. Also started hearing them. Was told "Well, it is winter in Maine". Too bad they don't take issues more seriously."

"I've resided on Foxcroft Drive for more than a year and have thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood, finding it exceptionally safe. Claudia from the office has consistently proven to be extremely helpful whenever we've needed assistance, and the professionalism displayed by the management and maintenance teams is commendable. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a rental property."

"We have lived here and Coach Lantern, and we have had very little problems. Our particular unit at Foxcroft is pretty updated, it was very clean upon move in. We have plenty of space. The monitor heat is awesome and extremely efficient, so we are very thankful for that. We never have to turn on our electric baseboard heat. We love our back patio space. My only complaint is that we had extreme issues with our fire alarm the first 6 months we lived here. It was extremely sensitive, it would go off as soon as the bathroom door was opened after a shower. It would go off randomly in the middle of the night, and would not stop. After it did stop, it would chirp ever 60 seconds and wouldn't stop until we finally disconnected it after phoning the emergency maintenance line. We had several calls into the fire department in the middle of the night due to this, which was extremely annoying and inconvenient. After 3 occurrences of this and "new batteries" and "fixing it", I finally got the maintenance team to completely replace the alarm upstairs, and we have had zero issues with it since. Our neighbors do not bother us, everyone stays to themselves in the community. No complaints about the office/leasing staff, Clayton and Garrett have been extremely pleasant, helpful, and informative."

"Think carefully before moving here. Expect to always pay $100-200 more than your lease rent. Very rude and unprofessional management, be prepared to be threatened with having your car permanently towed throughout your lease even if you pay for your parking space. They just towed my car after I had to rush out of state for an emergency and had no one to move my car for snow removal. Very indifferent to people. Management only cares about the property and its rents, not the residents."

"I moved into the Foxcroft apartments about two months ago, and I am very impressed. The apartments are recently renovated with new floors, appliances, and paint. The apartment complex is well managed, clean, and kept after. The people that live here are extremely friendly, and there are dogs everywhere! The apartments also have an onsite gym and dog park, both of which are kept very clean. We are also situated less than a mile from the Eastern Trail, which makes for amazing running and biking. The apartments are within a three minute drive of several grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants, but they are also tucked away from busy streets. The few times that I needed to submit a work ticket, I quickly get a repairman at my door (even during COVID). Recently our shower head continued to leak when I turned off the water, and I had a repairman fixing the issue within 30 minutes of placing a work order. This is a great place to live, and the apartments are well managed. Do not let the negative comments sway you from finding a home here!"
