"Very polite and efficient. Sonia was excellent at guiding me through the process of getting the special shoes I needed. Peter explained the fitting and measuring process and in two weeks I had my shoes. I am pain free and very grateful to Sonia and Peter. Very professional, businesslike and efficient people."
"My mom has bunions, and Bond gave her a pair of shoes a few months ago that she wears all the time because her feet don't hurt when she wears them, and they are easy for her to put on and take off (velcro straps). She had shopped around and this was the place that got the job done. She mentioned that they were a bit brusque, but we went for a long walk today and her feet are fine. They aren't beautiful but she can always wear painful shoes if she wants to dress up. Thanks Bond Shoe & Foot!"
"I have been in pain and unable to walk for over seven years. This morning I put on my new shoes (custom made) and walked. I can walk a short distance without a walker and I can go all over the with it. I could not do this with my previous orthopedic shoes. I used a scooter.. Peter is a master craftsman. I recommend Bond Shoes to anyone with an orthopedic need. Thank you Peter and Bond Shoes for improving my life."
"Customize arch support; my first visit. Business-like but polite and courteous; seems very knowledgeable. Picked-up the finish product today, and the new insoles seem strangely comfortable. I will know more after walking in them more. Also I told I can come back for any needed adjustments. However, I am satisfied at this point."
"Verrrry unhappy. Went in an hour before closing with the idea that I could possibly find a shoe for my bad foot, There was a large sign in the entry way that listed foot problems and then a big "No problem!" Once I entered the store, I was treated like I was a problem. The sales clerk came out of a back room and barked "You are supposed to have an appointment," I said I was sorry, and I was hoping to be fitted for a shoe as my doctor sent me there. She asked which doctor and I told her. She then said they have to order any shoe I'd like to try on. I asked if I could measure my foot and she said "measuring doesn't really matter. I can be anything from a 9 to 10.5. It depends on the shoe. We have to order them." Not a pleasant attitude. I tried to look at the shoes but was repeatedly reminded that "we don't have them here." I gave up and left. Very disappointed and will not go back. Michelson's in Lexington were very helpful. I wanted to see if there were different styles available at Bonds, and there were. I can order them off the Internet as well as they can, however. They lost a sale. :("
