The woman working there smiled and told me air was FREE, and SHE insisted on filling my tires and refused my many offers of a 'monetary tip' I found this refreshing and rare. "While I have used the 'services' of this store, it will never happen again. My wife went to this location to have a simple oil change. We take the car to real mechanics whenever anything else needs to be done. This time, when the technician was finished, my wife paid the bill and with her receipt was presented with the ring handle of the dipstick and the comment, by the way "this broke when we checked the oil." My wife didn't know how to react. No offer to fix it (at either their cost or ours) just sort of.... adios. (How did they actually check the oil?) A real mechanic drilled out the top of the piece that was stuck in the dipstick tube and inserted a screw to allow removal. I then purchased a new dipstick and have sworn off of these clowns. I have to ask, "how many other women have been left wondering what to do about a similar situation?""
