"Don't bother with this place! Called, they said bring it in so I put my lawn tractor on the trailer and brought it by. They refused to take it and told me that I never called!! Showed them my phone and the number I called which was theirs and they still refused! Don't bother washing your time!"
"Very pleasant reception. Called to warn me that mower may not be worth servicing. Very honest."
"Horrible service. I Called ahead and explained what was wrong with my mower, was told he could look at it the following day and get back to me. Never received a call back. I had to followed up a few days later on my own, Tim told me he was “waiting for a call back from the parts guy”, said he would call me back after he heard from them. However, I never received a call back. After 2 weeks went by I stopped in his shop, Tim states he magically had “just heard from the parts guy” (clearly a lie), and that it would be a few hundred to repair and was not worth it. I personally don’t think he ever truly tried to fix my mower nor called the parts guy, mower was hidden in the back when I got there, appeared he was banking on me not showing up and was going to fix it and resell for himself. Still charged me $30 to “look at it”. Buyer beware, do not do business with this establishment."
"Terrible service, rude, and not trust worthy of any future business. Took my echo grass trimmer to Tim's Repair to be fixed (just moved into the area and had driven by this place a number of times). I'm all about giving the local businesses first dibs on business. He called me after having the trimmer for a week or so and said the trimmer was unfixable and no longer operable. I don't know exactly what was wrong with it, but something came lose and was rattling inside - wouldn't start for me. When I went to pick it up, he asked if I wanted him to dispose of it for me. I could only imagine he offered to throw it out, because he could use the parts. I declined the offer and figured I'd take it to another local shop for a second opinion, as the trimmer had been a workhorse for me for years. I brought it to Saunders Sales & Service in Seekonk. Saunders called me a week or so later telling me that my trimmer was ready for pick-up. I came by and asked what it was. He said something came lose inside and they fixed it. For $50 or so (I don't recall exact amount - but no more than $50), the trimmer worked like charm and is still working today. This guy Tim also has an attitude about him (that was my first read on him) and in my opinion, NOT an honest business man. Needless to say, I won't be bringing my equipment to Tim's Repair for the simple reason that I don't trust him. I don't recommend him at all."
"Tim needs some lesson in customer service and some personality training classes. He makes you feel that are burdening him. Never again! If you need small engine repair, visit seekonk small engine repair on Rte 44, across from the YMCA. Very helpful and knowledgeable."
