"Parents beware! Good child care is hard to find and you can be petty assured, this is not a good daycare. Subpar is more like it. The director of this daycare pitches a good "story" and gives off a semi good impression. I did not want my grandchildren to go here (something felt off on our first visit) but there is a waiting list elsewhere. I had told my daughter to keep her eye on one teacher in particular in the 2 yr old room simply because she was being short with the kids in the room. Walking through the place an observant eye will notice that there are no visible hand sanitizes easily available and call me crazy but it seems dirty to walk through the infant room with our shoes on knowing that babies crawl around the place and everyones shoes have been god knows where. I never witnessed any babies actually being interacted with during my visits. They were always laying in sleepers or on the ground while the caretakers were on their telephones. My grand daughters at first seemed to be fitting in, but then the stories started coming. At first minor typical toddler stuff but then more aggressive things like teachers pulling them tightly by the arm or grabbing them. Several occasions I witnessed adults snagging pacifiers out of mouths or grabbing sippy cups. I'm not sure why aggression would be needed with two year olds. My granddaughter was actually shoved from the top of the slide and fell (thankfully she was only bruised), her 1 1/2 yr old sister saw it so why didn't any adult? They claim she didn't cry (highly doubtful), perhaps it is because at Crossroads there is no one to cry too. I realize with public daycare/schools childhood colds and diseases are unavoidable however, with cleanliness the spread is minimized so how is it that hand, foot & mouth disease ends up on a child's behind and private parts, unless a caregiver did not properly wash their own hands or changing surface after handling another contaminated child. In short, not only can you expect to pay a hefty daycare price but it is pretty likely that your child(ren) will be neglected and/or mistreated. I do write this with regrets because it really is hard to find quality daycare"
"My son has been going here for over a year he has learned soooo much. All the teachers there are awsome. I'll never take my son anywhere else."
"First I would like to say my child was happy there for a time, until the past 6-8 months. Her teachers are gone, no reason was given as to why! The lack to communication that the director has with parents is horrible, she is never there! Experienced teachers are replaced with inexperienced who knows what types of people! The food portions are small and of poor quality. There were also concerns for my child's safety. I would highly recommend bringing your children to another place for child care! This place is not worth your money, and be aware of safety issues!"
"Thank you, and your staff for everything you do for my son. I have absolutely no worries about leaving him in your care on a day to day basis because I know he is not only well taken care of, but he is also very happy to be with the other children."
"My children have been attending Cross Road for 2 years and 13 months respectively, and I couldn't be happier with Miss Rachel and her staff. The staff are all so friendly and nurturing, and provide a safe environment for my children to play and learn in."
