Elmere House Bed & Breakfast

"Can I give more than 5 stars? Our stay at Elmere House was by far our best ever stay in Maine! Michael and Bill were so gracious, and Bentley was the icing on the cake. Breakfast was so delicious, Michael and Bill should package their breakfast cakes (Blueberry and then a Cinnamon too), they'd make a mint! We felt at home at the Elmere, it was so close to entertainment, dinner and shopping. The location is great for a drive or walk along the ocean, you need more than a night here to take it all in. Thank you Bill and Michael for making our stay so wonderful and cozy - we look forward to being back in the spring!"

"We had a great stay at Elmere house. Our room was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. Breakfasts were delish (bring your appetites!) and the hosts were kind and had great suggestions for local restaurants and events. We would definitely stay again!"

"It was our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast and I was so happy we chose the Elmere House B&B. To start the B&B is situated in a convenient location next to the beach, restaurants and cute shops. The hosts Michael and Bill are wonderful. So helpful and attentive. We had the Perkins Cove room and it was perfect. The bed and pillows were so comfy and the towels were nice and soft. The water pressure in the shower was also great. Breakfast all three days was very enjoyable; it was a different breakfast everyday. Looking forward to returning soon!"

"I've never posted a review before but felt I had to this time because our experience was such a pleasure. Michael and Bill welcomed us with open arms the minute we got to the Elmere House. The house itself is inviting and comfortable with a nice sitting room inside and pretty gardens outside to relax after a full day at the beach. The rooms are clean and offer all the amenities you need and the bed was very comfortable. You wake up to coffee and tea, delicious homemade warm breads, eggs benedict and a very pleasant wait staff! Michael and Bill are cordial and fun while being professional and respectful and are happy to accommodate your needs. I highly recommend you stay at the Elmere House Bed and Breakfast."

"Elmere House is the best B&B in Maine! Michael and Bill are amazing hosts and go over and beyond to ensure that you have a memorable stay. This was our second year in a row and we plan on coming back again next year. The breakfast is great and you will be stuffed, Bill does a wonderful job preparing it. Don't forget to pet Bentley!"
