"New owner is destroying the charming, quaint experience that previous owners worked so hard to cultivate over so many years. They are removing the kitchens and porches from the cottages and raising rates more than 4x from previous year booking!!! Clearly trying to drive out the families that have vacationed here for generations, this is a sad change for this once amazing place."

"The room was spotless and all bedding and towels were immaculate. It was a bit smaller than I expected, and the bathroom door doesn't quite fit the frame, so it didn't close fully. The office staff were truly lovely and very accommodating to all my questions. There was coffee and tea and a sitting area, along with a bookshelf to borrow from. Many areas throughout the grounds for sitting with a good book and a blanket, which is precisely what we went for. We were very pleased overall."

"We’ve been coming here at least once a year since 2018, and it’s truly the most charming place I’ve ever stayed. The cottages are clean, cozy and just feel like home every time we arrive. The staff are very friendly, and the grounds and facilities are beautifully kept. The views of the tidal river, dunes and ocean are beautiful, and it’s a very quiet and relaxing property, with lots of space and great views everywhere. In the 7 or so times I’ve been here, I’ve never had a single complaint, only great times. I’ve stayed at many nice hotels, but this is the only place I’ve ever returned to again and again."
