"Great little hotel for a night stay up in PI. The room we got was very cozy, had a fridge and microwave, some water, coffee maker; the essentials. The breakfast is meh, which would be my biggest downside to this place. It's free, however there isn't much and the eggs and hash browns tasted very bland. Overall I had a good time at this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel with a cozy atmosphere and a short stay."
"Do not stay here! This hotel will scam you! We booked a room and as we walked down the hall, there was a loud party going on. We just wanted to get in and get some rest but that proved not possible do to the loud music. We complained to the front desk and she admitted that she was aware of it but proceeded to put in an effort to get them to stop. It didn't work. We were there for less then an hour and decided to just leave and not cause a fuss. I left my room key at the front desk and explained why we were leaving. They actually charged us full price despite the fact that the walls were shaking from the party going on. They claimed that we destroyed the room as well. I told the front desk before we left, I opened the bar of soap to wash my hands and my wife used the bathroom. That's it! We never touched the bed, the shower, hell, we didn't so much as turn the TV on, but yet, we trashed the place. Called the person in charge named Sam, got no where at all. Called the corporate office, was told to call the manager at the hotel, Sam. Got no where again. Called corporate one more time, was told its the hotels policy to refund if they want. Called the hotel one last time and spoke to Sam once again but this time he said, there is nothing he can do. The room was trashed and they weren't giving put any refunds. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra to stay at a good hotel, that will show you respect as a paying customer. Not this dump, that allows anything to go and still expects you to pay full price without so much as an apology from them. I will never, ever set foot in a best western as long as I live and nor should you."
"I realize the prices have gone up but for almost $200 a night, this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. First off, the girl at the front desk wants to see your I.D. then you stand there in front of her while she stares you down not saying anything. You feel like you're about to get interrogated. Secondly, the room itself is ok. The bathroom is smaller than most closets. The water gets hot but not really that hot. The walls are paper thin so you are constantly hearing people all hours of the night. They were doing laundry all night one night I was there and it sounded like they were doing something heavy like shoes. In one room I stayed in, there was mold in the ceiling from a water leak. There was a huge crack also on the ceiling. The bathroom door handle was so loose, I'm surprised it didn't just fall off. When you first get into the room, you have to turn the air conditioning on because it's so hot in the room. This hotel room is definitely not worth the money you pay for it."
"Great staff, everything else was decent. Possibly better value at other local hotels - for $160/night, I'm not sure how "budget" this budget hotel was. Like I said, best part was the staff, very friendly to me and my dog. $25/night charge for a pet which isn't bad, free would be nice but most hotels charge a fee. Beds were OK, showers hot but didn't get super hot, room had some cosmetic damage but bed and bath were clean. Something to note was there was 0 bathroom counter space. Located a bit outside of town compared to other stays if that's an issue. Overall, not a bad stay, but would definitely compare to other hotels in town. If you just want a clean bed and bath this is a decent pick."
"Prices for motels have skyrocketed. My room was almost $200 and for that amount my expectations are higher. Room was average size. Fridge Microwave Desk but no easy chair. Older property shows its age. Free hot breakfast. Mattress was fine. Not as quiet as other new motels because of thinner walls perhaps."
