"I have no feeling below my right knee which is a total bummer, however feeling sorry for myself helps know-one. At 77, (almost 78), I work hard everyday to live a normal life enjoying everything as before my accident. Walk 2 miles every morning, (use Tracking Poles to give me more endurance), drive my truck using a left foot accelerator. Walk without a cane most of the time. I would like to give a shout out to Insightful Products for their Step-Smart drop foot AFO brace. This brace was a life changer; allowing me to get rid of the bulky custom made AFO in favor of the light weight Step-Smart. It has increased my mobility, balance, and stamina. I will be forever thankful. Getting to my new norm has been a very stressful difficult undertaking but soooooo worth it.
