"What an odd store. I have never seen anything like it. Is it a thrift? Is it a retail? Is it a closeout shop? I mean it was very confusing. The prices reflected more of a retail store, but the selections were more thrift. I think it's for your own interpretation and there was a lot of stuff there. Maybe with more time to browse, I could have reconciled what it was. 2 stars because it was just full of stuff you get anywhere else for the same prices in better shape."

"This is a commendation for Ana, who was my cashier at the Portland Marden’s on Black Friday. She was nearing the end of a very long shift but she was still energetic, friendly, funny, and kind. I tried to tip her and she refused, explaining that it wasn’t permitted. She was absolutely lovely and even though it was a crazy day with a ton of customers, she had a smile on her face. "Great store reminds me of Building 19. Great salvage prices. Not everything is a good deal though so do your homework. Always great selection of name brand shoes, clothing, automotive supplies, tools, hardware, fabric and more!"

"This reminds me of Dirt Cheap in Tennessee but better! They have everything there at a discounted price. Organized nicely too. I saw upholstery fabric for $4/yard. What?? I didn't have much time to spend so I only briefly looked around but definitely go in planning to spend a good chunk of time if you want to do some serious bargain hunting!"
