"Interesting gift shop variety of items priced well"
"I wanted to love this store and I thought I did, until I found the same product in New Bedford, MA. We fell in love with these throw blabkets, and even more with the story of how they are made with recycled saris in India. The price at Maine Street was 85 bucks, in New Bedford they were 34 and 25 percent off!! On top of the price difference, the biggest shock was the owner, who does the purchasing, almost laughing when I asked if they were actually made from saris. I dont mind paying for a product, and it if it supports a group,but what a shame to make up a story to try and push a sale. I attached pictures of the one bought in Maine, and the two others bought in Massachusetts. The stitching is identical, they are without a doubt made by the same company. The green one is the Maine throw."
"A fantastic design store! I've been working with Christine to pick out knobs and pulls for my new kitchen. She has been absolutely wonderful to work with and brought a lot of expertise and knowledge to how to think about the types of knobs and pulls, including the proper sizes. I absolutely recommend this store and this wonderful staff."
