"Love this Bookstore! These guys were both friendly and knowledgeable. It seemed like a nice couple ran it. When I was there the woman who rang me up commented on each of the four books I chose--a Murakami, Vonnegut, Roth, and another that I can't recall. All rather new and discounted. We talked about said books and she brought up an old movie about one such book that she tried thinking of an actor who played a leading role. It reminded me of when my father watches movies and names old actors. The movie I hadn't seen and the actor had never heard of but she was very nice and I found it interesting. I will definitely be back next time I'm down the Cape. Very clean environment with well crafted selection!"

There is always a great selection of new and noteworthy books for both children and adults, as well as a masterfully curated collection of used and rare books -- all at unbeatable prices! You could walk in with a blindfold over your eyes, spin around three times, and you would still fall in love with the first book you pick off the shelf! However, it's the staff that makes a stop at Reed Books such a wonderful experience. You get the sense that the people working there are not just selling you great books, but taking care to connect every person with the perfect book for them. Booksellers...more like matchmakers!
