"Physicians are super professional and knowledgeable. Very difficult (almost impossible) to schedule convenient times for appointments. Support staff, mainly those who take phone calls, lack patience and are even sometimes rude."

"I would give 0 STARS if I could. I was charged twice on my daughter's appointment, and I was told every week for 3 weeks "it's in process." Then I find out they need proof which I've provided & crickets. Now that someone bought them out, they are saying "it's out of our hands. They have to process." I guess last straw, my bank will fight it."

"I was told called because my appointment was being canceled. I get it , Covid sucks . I called back to reschedule as requested and the person answering the phone was the rudest person I have ever encountered. She offered me an appointment for next December! It’s January 17th ! She told me if I couldn’t pick a date , to call another time ! Awful customer service . I love DOCS . Have been a patient since it left Dedham Medical ! So surprised and disappointed!"

"I have been coming to DOCS for many years. Whether needing to schedule or reschedule any appointments, or having to participate in any one of several types of eye exams or tests, I have always found the staff to be professional, courteous, and kind. Today I would like to make mention about one particular employee in the Optical Center, his name is Jerry Robinson. In the summer of 2015, it was determined that I would need new glasses so I decided to try the Optical Center. I met Jerry this one particular day, I informed him I was only “looking around.” He just told me “take your time, if there’s something I can help you with let me know.” Jerry had a friendly but peaceful disposition. After checking out the different frames, It came to me that I always buy the same style. Stepping out of my comfort zone, I asked Jerry for help. Not only does Jerry have a friendly and peaceful disposition, he has an eye for style. He presented to me a frame that I would have walked right past. I received a lot of compliments on this frame, so of course, when I needed new glasses this year, I sought his advice again. And again, I have a cool pair of glasses with a clear frame that fits my style. Over the years, whenever I would come for a checkup, I always poke my head into the Optic Center to say “hello.” The last time I was in to see my doctor, while sitting in a smaller waiting area, Jerry was walking around the office inviting other employees to share some of his lunch that he had ordered in. I thought to myself, “there’s nothing fake about this guy.” Jerry is just a good human being that cares for others. The next time you visit DOCS, visit the Optic Center.
