"The worst - do not insure with N&D if you want to be dropped after a claim! Paid them well over $50,000 over 4-year period to cover multiple vehicles, and as soon as there is a claim they will drop you. They used one late payment to cancel us, which I would almost buy, but they cut at least 5-6 checks back to us over the years for duplicate payments or over payments because they are incompetent trying to process auto-payments from the bank."

"They referred me to their agent for purchase of car insurance, and their offer for 12 month coverage was just under $4000! We have a 10 year old BMW and 2 year old Mazda, we ended up getting the same offer directly from big brand company for a little above $1000 for identical coverage. I tried to give my business to a local company and that’s what I got in return."

"As with other reviews, I had to deal with this unprofessional, rude, and crooked insurance company. It took 4 months for them to settle a claim when their client was 100% at fault for doing a hit and run. They tried every shady tactic possible, even sending out 2 appraisers because they didn't like what the first one said. Word of advice to anyone that has to deal with this company because one of their insurers has hit your vehicle, GET A LAWYER IMMEDIATELY! This company will use every possible tactic to avoid settling and will fight you all the way. Their lawyer is extremely rude and she will try everything possible, including lying in court. This insurance company will try and twist all the facts and will try to discredit you in an attempt to sway court to go their way. It is a year later and I am still fighting for money for rental fees that should have been paid to me because they held up the claim for 4 months. They think that you should find your own way of transportation while you are waiting for them to settle. They will refuse to pay for replacement rentals when they try to settle the claim with you and low ball you at every chance they get. Do you self a favor and get a lawyer to do all the fighting and arguing with them because it is not worth the aggravation and stress that they will put on you. Even if you have police reports and video proving that they are at fault, don't think it will be open and shut, get a lawyer. They will still try and stall for as long as they can and still try to offer less than what you should get. Get a good lawyer!"
