"Hi this place was fantastic I sure do miss being in the ward. Angel was a great guy. I liked his strictness like he was a parent. Everyone else didn’t really like him."
"I must admit. The place sucked. I was put in this place for about 7½ months. (Only because of living situations, of course. You don't actually stay that long. 3 weeks max.) After awhile the staff just gave up. The only "group" we did was "leisure skills" which was just listening to music or watching TV. The schedule was easy and if luck was on your side the other kids there were pretty chill and/or nice. The food wasn't awful but it wasn't good. It's about as bad as I imagine Arby's food is. IDK, never been to Arby's. Anyway, the only good thing was SOME of the counselors. So, Amanda, Rich, if you're reading this....thank you for everything you did for me. Also, this place needs a deep clean."
"When I was there for the 3rd time they had me basically locked in a single room and I wasn't allowed to leave at all. Isolating kids in a PYCH ward is psychologically damaging and can cause the patient to be more depressed. They should not keep frequent flyers locked up because it's just gonna make them worse. And Kelly Lord did not care, since she doesn't care abt the patients and only cares abt the money. don't waste ur time trying to bring ur kid here for help, they won't help them at all. The only thing that is good abt this place is the food you get at the Cafe. Also the last time I was there I said to Kelly Lord "I'm never coming back" and she just laughed at me and says "You always do". And she still isn't fired yet this place is abusive mentally and they don't care abt the patients, especially KELLY LORD. -Emily Castricone"
"This place is was great I got treated like a human being. The Food was great. staff were really kind. The only thing I didn’t like was stepping in water in the bathroom and the tub room was over filling with water lol. I think you guys should remodel the bathrooms in the Washington unit. This place is was so much better than cypress center in Manchester they drugged me up and sent home 7 days later. And some days do by I started to puke up the capsule pills and I got readmitted to the er. And then I was told about about you guys. I finally can sleep at last. I’m Never ever again taking these meds fluoxetine, hydroxyzine and trazodone and can’t forget Seroquel these meds were horrible. Hampstead is the best"
"9 months ago i went to this hospital in the lincoln unit, most of the staff were horrible to us(especially bob) there was only 1 good staff we all trusted and his name was alex, when i went there my name was dylan but recently its changed to iris, the only good thing this hospital did for me was let me meet my best friends in the entire world ace, sova, harper and phil. this place only made my deppresion more severe to the point that i self harmed for the first time here. i used a paper clip for it. there was constant yelling, kids with anger issues flipping stuff and over all so much chaos. but this place for some reason will always hold a special place in my heart as my happy place because i was allowed to be me with no one ever critisizing me."
