"I waited for two hours to be seen. I came out of the exam room to ask what was going on, and the NP and staff were chatting in a corner. Then, when the NP finally came in, she asked me the same question over and over again. I’m not sure she knew what she was doing. I don’t know what is going on here, but AFC in Stoneham is a way better option."
"If I could do zero stars i would. This place is a absolute joke. With 5 patients in the place and i waited 4hrs to have a swollen hand looked at. They took xrays and now i need to go to a specialist. called 3 different numbers for urgent care and waited forever again and was finally told that they don't have the the equipment to burn the xrays to a cd. This place and mass general should be ashamed of themselves."
"I would give the front end staff and the nurses 5 stars on customer service (prompt, courteous and friendly), but the Dr who was supposed to see me needs to be better with time management and basic customer service. I waited 45 minutes in the exam room, waiting to be seen after the friendly nurse took my vitals. This was during a time when the place wasn’t even packed in the lobby. I came out of the room asking the nurses at the station, how much longer because I have to leave? The nurses turned to look at a small room next to their station and told the Dr. that the next patient who has been waiting has to leave, and the Dr. was silent! Dead silent! Not a word was said! The nurses and I were waiting awkwardly for a response. Nothing. So I said I really have to leave to pick up my child because the school is closing, so the nurses made the decision to let me go. Again, not a word from the doctor who was within earshot of this conversation, but just hiding behind a wall. If only the doctor had considered communicating an estimated time to be seen, I would’ve appreciated that. But to intentionally not communicate anything, when I’m just a few feet away within earshot is piss poor manners. Again, this doesn’t reflect on the nurses. They did what they could. I typically have reasonable and great experience with the Mass General system, but this experience with the silent Dr. is far below the standard of care I’ve experienced from another MGB Urgent Care facility. I asked for a refund, because the service I got is not worth the $100 co-pay I paid upfront."
"Save your time & money- came in very painful and left untreated and unmedicated for a UTI. i was born with a kidney infection so ive been battling these types of things my whole life. I had to leave work because of the pain and didnt realize it would have been a waste of time. It also started when I was on vacation and this was the first thing I did when I came back. Suffered through the plane and 4 hr bus ride. Front desk was nice & understanding, so i thought i found a great place and was in good hands. NP Mallory came in and off the rip started insisting it wasn't an UTI. I left upset and unheard. She had the nerve to prescribe me a $80 numbing cream, for a Uti? ummm…. Called the place several times throughout the day being a total Karen. I was pissed and in pain. I knew i would have the suffer the rest of the day at work and throughout the whole night- and thats what I did. Luckily, places like BMC exists and the Doctors there are incredible. Turns out I had a very bad UTI- which i knew. It had gotten worse and lasted the longest Ive ever had because of the negligence. Not them still sending me a bill too. Save your time and money and go to BMC or literally anywhere else. Have never experienced anything like this. Its like when you stand up for yourself and say you know whats going on they just pull out their power trip just to knock you down."
"Urgent care facilities are popping up everywhere and they are great. You don't need to go to the ER which can take forever at times. Every time I have been to one it has been a pleasant experience. I just need to find out if you can make one your primary care. Or if you can use an Urgent care and get someone there to OK a specialist. If anyone knows please pass on the information."
