"They are very quick to send bills to patients when their balance is paid . I received a bill from March 2023 and I paid the bill when I went for my appointment. The bill system is a joke and they care more about money then the patients themselves. Also I almost went into kidney failure from the toxic dose of vitamin C they told.me.to take won't be going back and not paying the fraudulent bill"
"Called to ask questions about offerings and was informed that they are not taking any patients with fatigue because they are "at capacity for these patients." When inquiring how they would look at someone as a whole person (functional, holistic, naturopathic medicine at its core) without addressing all symptoms, the same statement was provided on loop. This is concerning as a person but also as a practitioner who has previously referred people to this business for support. Perhaps, if "at capacity" for any one specific problem, when often symptoms are interrelated, the entire practice should be "at capacity" for all problems and closed to new patients. This felt selectively dismissive and discriminatory, preferring "certain problems or issues" over others. I won't be referring anyone here any longer unfortunately."
"It has been over a year since I had my virtual appointment with Dr. Kearney and I've had some time to reflect on how unpleasant my experience was. Dr. Kearney was unfriendly and very dismissive. I've worked with quite a few doctors and have never wanted to end an appointment early so badly. When I explained my issues to Kearney, I simply remember her responding with attitude, "So what do you expect me to do for you then?" She has little to no bedside manner and I've never felt so belittled in an appointment. I do remember ending the call and being very upset with how it went, I had high hopes for this place since my primary referred me and the office staff was very nice. I paid my copay and never followed up with anything further since I wasn't interested in working with Kearney. We clearly did not jive as doctor and patient. All I can say to future new patients - proceed with caution with Northampton Integrative Medicine. Look elsewhere if you are seeking compassion and understanding from your doctor."
"Great place for T-cell therapy. Helped me feel better and taught me about what not to take and what not to eat when it comes to mold and gelatin tainted with round up. I do have to say though. I recently made an appointment for a check up. I had to cancel because I didn't feel well, the day before my appointment, So, I called and canceled. Keep in mind I had no idea what their cancelation policy was, nor did I care. I actually figured it was 48 hours, and I was already prepared to pay. So this office (as of this day I canceled) charged full price for a cancelation. Fine, I called the next day after realizing it was mastitis and I was not contagious, to see if I could still have my appointment. I knew it was a shot in the dark, no big deal. So some time later I checked their policy which states 24 hour cancelations. Perfect, I called the day before so I'm all set. Good news! Nope! They still charged me, cause I wasn't exactly on the 24 hour mark. Fine, but then I had to deal with these petty and be-littleing, arguments through their letters they sent me. Please, you don't treat patients like this. In the midst of all of this miscommunication they lowered their charges and now have a $50 cancelation fee. Because, why? Others must be complaining too. But the thing they didn't understand is the day before is considered 24 hours. Mastitis comes on fast and I can't help it if I didn't call exactly 24 hours before my appointment, I called the day before and that should be good enough. The fact that the office argued with me for the next 3 months and told me I called the day of, and then when they rechecked their phone records, saw that I did call the day before my appointment, admitted it. Then said , oh but it wasn't exactly 24 hours. Hello! What are you talking about, so rude and misunderstanding. I can't even believe it, I felt like I was in an argument with my 4th grade best friend. I'm a customer, be nice and understanding. You argued with me, that I didn't call the day before my appointment, and then when u saw that I did call the day before, you argued more? Why, so petty. I won't feel comfortable to go back here. Which is too bad. Could have been let go, a good doctors office would have let it go. Customers matter."
"My mother (92) and I contacted NIM because we were looking for herbal replacements for antibiotics, analgesics and antihistamines. We had a favorable 1st meeting and were sent home to take blood tests and fecal specimens surrounding allergies and gut bacteria. (Nothing about our initial contact request.) My mother had pain in her neck from a fall and she recommended arnica. (My mother has an odontoid fracture and will be in a hard collar for 6-9 months.) I asked about getting into the portal and she said it was not necessary. Our second appointment was yesterday (4 months later), and we didn't recognize the practitioner at first. Michelle G looked and acted like a different person. She was running 15 minutes late and in a foul mood. She was unprepared not having reviewed any of the test reports before our meeting. When my mother had questions, she asked me if I understood, ignoring my mother, the patient. We were expected to interpret our own reports. Isn't that her job? We were sent away with prescriptions for three different probiotics and prebiotics. She asked if we had read the reports on the portal, and I told her that we were told it was not necessary. Her response: Who told you that? Although we requested the portal again, information was never provided by the receptionist upon checking out. We made no follow-up appointment, and Michelle G did not recommend we make one. We were rushed out in 15 minutes with many unanswered questions. We will consult our PCP, who is more responsive, regarding these test results. Needless to say, this was a waste of money and time. Our original request for herbal replacements for medicines such as antibiotics, analgesics and allergy was never met, and we walked out very confused and angry. We will not be returning."
