Writing Center 893 West Street, Amherst, MA 01002

The Writing Center at Hampshire University, located at 893 West Street in Amherst, Massachusetts, is a valuable resource for all writers at the university. Whether you are working on a course paper, a Division II or III project, internship applications, or any other writing assignment, the Writing Program is here to help. Faculty associates Alex Cuellar and Faune Albert are available for individual counseling sessions and advising to provide feedback and support at any stage of the writing process.

The Writing Center is a quiet and welcoming space on the edge of campus, offering communal writing areas as well as private writing spaces. Open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:30am-4:30pm, the center also offers Writing Help @ Night supervised by Alumni Fellows for additional support outside of regular hours. Students can drop in during open hours or schedule an appointment for writing consultations.

Virtual appointments via Zoom are also available upon request. The Writing Center is dedicated to providing a supportive environment for all writers, regardless of proficiency or field of study, to improve their writing skills and receive valuable feedback.
