"We enjoyed a day of picture taking and walking amongst the rocks. Beautiful weather. The storm a few weeks ago definitely brought rocks and debris along the shore but the shells were cool amongst the rocks. The area was beautiful."

"Great place to be any time of day! Great trails for walking and exploring and being in nature. I’ve seen all kinds of wildlife - bunnies, deer, raccoons, and so many different kinds of birds. There is some road noise but other than that, it’s a peaceful oasis in the Seacoast! Dogs are unfortunately not allowed."

"Very rocky and very beautiful. It is the perfect beach. One son loves tidal pools. The other son loves the ocean but hates the sand. Needless to say, both were happy and literally had to be dragged to the car. Picnic tables, playground, and an ocean breeze. No need to travel further."

"Loved this park, lots of well-groomed walking trails that help you to explore the Fort Dearborn, an old WWII fort. There is so much history and beauty with a great park for kids, picnic tables, and even a food truck. We spent a good amount of time walking all the trails and the sea life center, which also had a wonderful exhibit showcasing the history of the park. Great for families and any natural explorer. Wonderful views of Portsmith Harbor and Whaleback Lighthouse."

"This is such a beautiful beach. We went on a Saturday kind of early in the season- mid-May- and there was hardly anyone there. Lots of tidepools to look into, and thousands upon thousands of snails. It must have been mating season for them, it was really cool! There are nice trails and a playground and picnic tables and benches conveniently located throughout."
