"A nice sandy beach, there is also a big pavilion. Off season admission is free. Water is very clean. Bathrooms open in season. Plenty of parking. I liked the picnic tables amount the tall pine trees. It’s a pretty large park and lots of times pretty quiet. In Summer only Town residents are allowed. There is also a Lifeguard on duty in Summer and also markers surrounding a swimming area. At times there a swimming lessons. I also like the big boulders right next to the water. The water goes from shallow to about ten feet within the markers. And a nice sandy bottom. This park has been completely restored with new restrooms, new pickle ball courts new parking lots new picnic areas handicap access new sand on beachfront. New playground."
"Great town beach for Swanzey Residents! Love seeing all the kids during summer camp"
"Great lake to kayak, looking to fish next time. Boat ramp with small parking area to get on the water. Stopped by the town park to swim, bathrooms were closed but good setup all around. Will definitely be back"
"Clean water, plenty of shade when you've had enough sun. My only complaint is, despite many "No Smoking" postings, there were several cigarette butts under our picnic table and on the shore where we got into the water."
"It's okay. Bathrooms are always gross though. Beach is okay. Camp building is in need of serious updating in my opinion."
