Reviews
"A beautiful and historic trail. Much wildlife to view."
"Well-maintained paved/gravel/cinders path, about 6 miles one way before it terminates at an unusable metal bridge to the north. Lots of parking available in Waterford. The path is next to water the whole time, and while the water is often swampy and stagnant, that means the birds and wild life are plentiful. The path goes through a landfill and past a chemical plant, but you wouldn't know it from the deer and birds. There are a few road crossings and turns, but overall the path is well-marked and easy to follow. There are several gates to prevent any vehicle bigger than a bike from using the path. One star deduction because the trail does continue over that metal bridge, but it sure isn't safe to cross."
