"Tammy the Phlebotomist was Amazing! Her Skill and Kindness was Truly Above and Beyond! She fit me in as a Walk-in. Labs I needed for Pre-Employment Registered Nurse Position. Thank-you So Very Much!"
"Went in today for the first time to have labs drawn. The man who drew my blood was extremely patient and kind. There were many people waiting, but appointments were full and he nicely told them he might not be able to get to them all as there are appointments currently scheduled every 10 minutes. He hasn’t even had a lunch yet, people bringing in multiple orders other than what they anticipated having done and making an appointment for. This man truly cares about his job. Quest, you honestly should have someone doing the billing and scanning of orders separately and patients shouldn’t be allowed to take in multiple orders if they only made an appointment for one. It’s not fair for the phlebotomist or the people waiting with an appointment. Another recommendation would be to extend the appointment times to 20 minutes. My overall experience could have went left if this man wasn’t the one there, he truly is an asset to your company."
"UPDATE: Another appointment; another cancellation by them. It’s been five times now. I was told by a phlebotomist at another facility it’s because the doctors at Amherst “don’t feel like working” so they just close the site down all the time. How are they still in business? How is Quest still allowing them to operate? Why are these lazy doctors not being fired and replaced by people with actual work ethic? It’s not just affecting dozens of clients every day, it’s causing an influx of people to go to other facilities and burdening them with extra work. Why should so many people suffer because a few are so lazy? Fix this, Quest. It’s not okay. I keep trying to set up appointments, and then the morning of the appointment, I get a text saying they canceled it because the site is “closed for maintenance.” Is this site closed permanently? If so, update your website and inform people so they don’t waste their time!"
"7/2/23 after fasting all night and morning arrived at 11:03 as I was trying not to be sick in the car or outside, I was so nauseous. I’ve been pretty sick hence the blood work needed. Arrived took a couple minutes to scan my stuff at the kiosk then sat. No one but me waiting, then 3 ladies came in to register. Nurse came out and ask for me then said I wait I need to take 11:10 person, mind u they were 3rd in the kiosk line not even registered yet and it was still 11:07, I asked why and she brought me into the office and said you were late and preceded to show me the other folks on a computer? So she took the 3rd woman in line for her 11:10 prior to me and then proceeded to take 11:20 at this point I was going to be sick everywhere. For the time she had to tell me why I couldn’t go and show me on a computer we could have just got the blood work done. I went to walk out after she called the 11:20 and she was like oh need some water? Crazy that compassion is completely gone even the customers were trying to get her to just take me but she was awful . I understand a schedule but when someone is sick as a dog wouldn’t u try and help out as a health facility. Drove home and ate and felt horrible all day. There is no way that they don’t get thrown off a few minutes a day and throughout a day just horrible service. Hence the other 2.5 star reviews seems generous for this location. I wish she just had said I’m not going to take you, rather than screw me around while I was feeling so sick. I’ve been to other locations without issue first time at Amherst and would never go back."
"I showed up as a walk-in appointment after waiting in the car for 30 minutes until they opened at 1:00 and after fasting all morning. I used the kiosk to sign in, and it offered me an appointment at 1:10. The nurse came out and told me they were no appointment times available. That’s fine. An apology would’ve gone a long way. The only response I got is go on the app and find another location. Even if walk-ins are welcome, I would not show up at this location without an appointment."
