"We had a really wonderful experience with Araby rug. About 10 years ago we acquired a valuable, beautiful old hand-knotted Heriz rug from a friend, but due to a high traffic area and three kids and many pets, the fringes had worn off, and the edges had started to pull away and unravel. I was so worried that we had crossed a point of no return with the ability to repair it. I finally called Araby, and because we were close by, they were able to stop by the house and give us an estimate and cart it away on the spot. They were very communicative and stayed in touch about the amount of time and the cost to repair it. When they brought it back, they carefully carried it in and helped us move all the furniture, and lay it back down again. The repairs were unbelievable. I can’t believe that they were able to rescue so much of the rug and have the edges looking new again. It was also clean from a hand-washing. Given the complexity of repair, the quality of the end result, and the professional service, the cost of the repair was very reasonable. I highly recommend!"
