"Wishing they had more ecologically friendly cleaning options. A little too pricey. I do like the ability to get notifications via email or text messages. Staff is always friendly. Quality of cleaning could be better, they were not able to remove several stains."

"For nearly 12- years, I took my shirts to a local cleaner in South Portland and over that period of time, I can count on one hand how many broken buttons I had on shirts returned to me after being laundered. However, since Pratt Abbott acquired them a few months back, there has rarely been an occasion that my shirts haven't come back without multiple crushed or missing buttons... I have addressed this issue with management on two separate occasions and both times they apologized and told me that they would work with their team to address this and would pay closer attention to their QC to make sure they were not returning the shirts back to me without at least replacing the buttons... To their credit, the next batch of shirts come back as they should, without any broken or missing buttons. However, the next set of shirts presented the same issues of broken or missing buttons. Ugh! Then, when I attempt to address this with the counter personnel, their response is unsympathetic at best and sometimes down-right insulting, saying things like "well maybe you have cheap buttons?" or “our policy is that you need to pay a premium to have them hand pressed if you want to fix this issue”. I find it incredibly bold of a company to have a “policy” (as it was explained to me) that basically says, "if you expect us to not damage your property, then you will need to pay extra for that".... Can you imagine taking your vehicle in for an oil change and getting it back with damage and the response being, "you will need to pay extra to prevent that from happening going forward"? The easy fix would be to take my laundry elsewhere, but of course Pratt Abbott owns every cleaner in my area and there aren't other alternatives. This whole situation is incredibly frustrating and so I am left with using this venue to expose this unacceptable business practice. I cannot believe that I am the only one who is having this issue... It is because of the situation I have just described, that I could not and would not recommend this establishment to anyone."

"I used Pratt Abbott in Falmouth to clean and box my wedding gown up after my wedding. They were very friendly and easy to work with and let me see my dress after it was cleaned before it was boxed up. I was impressed by how well they did cleaning it as my dress had some stains on the bottom from being dragged around all night! Only thing was that they failed to call us when the dressed was boxed and ready to be picked up. After some time, we called to find out it had been ready. Disappointed about that part, but very satisfied with the quality of work they did to get my dress clean and boxed up. They even sent us a thank note in the mail for using their services with a gift card for next time!"
