"Last spring I bought a truck load of Simpson’s loam-compost blend and it was the worst product that I’ve ever used in 60 years of gardening. When it was dry it was like cement and when it was wet it was slime. There website doesn’t tell you that it’s loaded with clay and the “loam” part is mostly “woods loam” aka ground stumps, leaves and branches. I called and was told that everyone loves it - maybe if you’re filling in a swamp."

"We attempted to order a dumpster from here, and I say attempted because we called, were given a price, set up a day to have it delivered, and we're all set, we thought. Then that day arrives, we call to get an eta, and the guy is rude, unprofessional, and tells us that because we are using our bank account card and not a credit card he can charge repeatedly, he wont deliver. He insisted that we give him an actual credit card on file in case of "fees" and "over weight charges". Utterly ridiculous. We are taking our business elsewhere."
