Reviews
"Classic off broadway theatre that's been there forever and has tons of history. Every year there's something worth seeing here."
"Small theatre in the West village. Seating includes orchestra and a small mezzanine. We saw Danny & The Deep Blue Sea here and it was great. Because the theatre is small and cozy, even from close to the back you can still see everything and the actors faces well."
"The play (Danny and the Deep Blue Sea) was great, so I’m giving the theater an extra star. But the facility itself is terrible. If you sit in the balcony (I was in the 3rd row), expect not to actually be able to see much. There’s almost no pitch, so even a short person’s head will obstruct your view. If you happen to sit in the front row, don’t worry; your view will still be obscured by lights and a grid hanging in your way. Maybe if you sit in the orchestra, it’s better, but I’ll probably not go back to find out."
"Guess it’s really the show producers, had tickets for Danny and the deep Blue sea, but their box office sent me a text 3 and half hours before the show tonight, that my tickets had been cancelled and refunded. Already in the city, DOWNTOWN. REFUND MY TRAVEL EXPENSES, pay me for my time? Never again."
"Charming and unique. Difficult to see stage from back rows of balcony. Very difficult. From the back rows of the balcony you can also have the voices of the actors drowned out when the staff use the washrooms. Flush."
