Nova Nails

"I cannot believe I just paid $45 for the worst dip manicure. This is embarrassin!. I’m going to have to find someplace else tomorrow to get this off. The person doing my dip clearly has no idea what she was doing. I’m in shock and almost laughing about how awful this is. They look even worse in person."

"So normally I get my nails done down in Portland but I figured I’d give this place a try considering I live up this way and the reviews seemed to be good..this is the 4th pedicure I’ve gotten here and usually they’re OK (the younger guy always seems to cut me every time I get him and gets a little file happy and ends up filing my skin a lot of the time) but I went this time and was horrified at how AWFUL my nails look. Polish past my cuticle, polish above my nail on my skin and the nails aren’t even all the way painted..not to mention I was cut twice and my cuticles still look horrible. The photos of the buffer they use on the foot are reason enough not to come here…that’s other peoples skin on them meaning they weren’t washed after the person (and who knows how many others) before me. They also do not push your cuticles back or trim them if you just ask for a full set, so your nails come out looking a week grown out. When I brought it up to the guy he told me no - that’s a manicure not part of an acrylic service. I’ve been getting acrylics on and off for 14 years and never once have I not had my cuticles pushed back and trimmed with that service. My last full set (which was also my first at this salon) I had 3 nails horribly crooked and misshapen. Maybe the people around here just don’t know what they’re missing out as far a decent nail salon but I’ll never be back."

"I usually like this place and she does a really good job. I went in Saturday the 14th of may and mind u I was already in there for 2 hours before this. This is not what I wanted they were super busy and it felt kind of rushed. I did not want to hurt her feelings so I ended up paying 65 dollars for nails I don’t like and didn’t want. I most likely will not come back here just because of the experience from yesterday. I didn’t even ask for purple now I’m stuck with these nails I just wish when you go in with a mindset and show the picture you want you get what you ask for since I’m the one paying for services."

"5 stars! I have Michelle do my nails and she's incredible!!! I'm an artist and model so I'm extremely picky but after seeing her work I switched to her. Literally the ONLY person I go to and say get creative with it. Sometimes I give her colors/themes I need for upcoming photoshoots and she never disappoints me! Highly recommend Nova Nails!"
