"I have been a student at Ilta for almost a year and a half. I walked in one day out of curiosity and have been hooked ever since. Tamaz loves what he does and puts all of his energy and devotion into teaching his students. Knowing that each person learns in his/her own unique way, he takes the time to figure out what works best for each student. Sometimes it feels like magic the way he can make things happen for me! Tamaz makes me want to be a better dancer. Whenever I get frustrated with my progress, he is always so understanding and patient, often telling me to "enjoy the journey." I am so grateful for his guidance and insight. He is like a life coach for me. I recently began taking Latin arm styling classes with Ema. I am now hooked. Learning to move the feet and the arms simultaneously can be challenging. Ema has the ability to break things down in a way that I can understand. Her energy and passion make learning so much fun and the time fly! The dance community at Ilta is so welcoming. In addition to being the best place to learn to dance, it's also a good place to watch other dancers or just socialize. I took dance lessons years ago at another studio. The instructors at Ilta are unique in their ability to bring out the best in every student. The rush of adrenaline and sense of accomplishment after a lesson are so therapeutic! I would be remiss if I didn't mention Ilana - the other half of "Ilta." While I have not taken classes from her, I've seen her working with other students, most recently a little girl of about 3 years of age. Ilana often pops her head in when I'm at the studio practicing.... to say hello or offer encouragement."

"Ilana is the best! She created the choreography for our first dance and it will be our dance of a life time! We got so many compliments for the first dance and it was amazing! We wanted to do tango for our wedding, which is quite challenging since we are total beginners. But Ilana is so professional and patient, her instruction is very detailed and on point. We actually tried a couple of trial classes in different studios and immediately decided to go with Ilana after the class with her. She knows what she is doing! Not to mention the atmosphere of the entire studio is awesome. Ilana let us practice in studio whenever there is free space. Definitely recommend!!"
