"We bought a bed frame thinking it was the July 4th sale, the next day it had the discount so I inquired about the change. Instead of making any accomodations considering it was the day prior, they said nothing could be done. The company just wants to take your money and make no accomodations or considerations or care about you. They don't have any regard for customer service."
"Watch what you buy from this company. You pay return shipping even if they send you a broken item. We received nightstands and upon opening an undamaged yet God awful smelling box. We found the nightstand was damaged. They offered a new one or 20% off. Since it was a manufacturing defect we didn't want to chance another nightstand. We had to pay return shipping. I will never do business with them again."
"Beware of Shipping Delays I ordered an outdoor sectional back in July. After multiple attempts to get an ETA for delivery I have just now been told that it now on back order. 2 times customer service told me that the couch was just waiting for the delivery company to pick it up. Now it is on back order and ETA is November. When I asked if there was anything J&M would do for the inconvenience I was told that they do not give compensation for delivery delays. I have been a loyal customer to all of their brands but this experience will make me reconsider ordering from them again."
"Received a bar chair with a missing piece and spent the next 2 months trying to get them to send me the replacement piece. After 25 calls and no success with getting the piece to me, they finally agreed to sending me a whole new chair! Which also took a ridiculous amount of time to get to me. It wasn't until I demanded to talk to a manager months later that anything actually happened. Not very professional. Awful first impression. Won't order again from here probably, even though their customer service employees were polite and willing to help as much as they could."
"We ordered a sectional sofa, but it missed four legs and the associated hardware. We ordered the missing parts by call clarifying all the item numbers of the missing parts and also sent them the email indicating which parts on the instruction book were missing. After a week, we received the replacing parts, but they were wrong parts. So we have to order the missing parts again. Still, we called and described exactly what were missing and waited for another week. The second time, however, they still sent us the wrong replacement parts. Now we have to order for a third time and wait for one more week. This time we asked them to expedite the shipping of the replacements, but they refused. Really, I rarely see such careless service, which Joss & Main offers."
