"Best place that I know of to shop for kitchen tools in the Boston area. It's happened a number of times over the years that I found the thing I was looking for here. Even just wandering their aisles and slowly browsing their well-stocked shelves is a treat that may lead you to find a few things you didn't know you needed. It's quite impressive too that they fit so much good stuff in there, because even though it's huge in terms of a Cambridge storefront, it's a fraction of the size of some suburban big box store. Staff will point you in the right direction when you need help finding something. Prices are good, too."

"It was an honor to be employed here. IKE was One of the nicest bosses I've had. He was an exceptional business man overseeing both this store as well as the one in Newton. He was very schooled and skilled about kitchen wares and place settings and all things for the home. Straight European knowledge. A joy to talk with. He and his beloved American Eskimo Dog (whose name eludes me right now) will both be forever greatly missed. Stopped in recently to say hello and learned from his wife of his passing. Wishing the very best for the China fair today and always I know Ikes spirit is still there bringing light and love to all. "Love this place. Dishes, glasses, house wares, utensils, party supplies... The list goes on. One of my personal favorites to get there is unique bowls of all different sizes from different countries that are painted in bright colors."

"You can spend a lot of time here looking at all the odds and ends. There's something new each time. They have a lot of cute little pastry molds and interesting bakeware. I'm always surprised to find things that I never knew existed (like a tool to hull strawberries). Also don't miss the basement for lots of open stock glass bowls, ceramics, and random things. In addition to cookware and dishes, they always seem to have a large selection of dried herbs and Trappist jams."
