"I am a new mom and I love Children’s Orchard. My daughter got TONS of NB-6mo clothes at my shower but nothing beyond that sizing. I’ve been able to trade all of her small clothing in for store credit and am now fully stocked up to 24 month which should last us the next year+. The ladies are all super nice. I could totally get more $ selling items on marketplace (if I even found a buyer) but it’s so great to have the store credit and know that the options at Children’s Orchard are affordable. Id rather get less money for what I sell, and know that everything on the racks is priced super reasonably. So glad to have this awesome store 10 minutes from me for building a wardrobe, trade ins, equipment for a rapidly growing baby, and last minute necessities. PS the $5 bag sale is incredible."
"This store is a hidden gem for parents, grandparents and guardians alike, who are looking for great quality clothing at reasonable prices. I highly recommend buying a year ahead of time for seasonal clothing with their AMAZING MARKDOWNS! I can’t say enough about this wonderful store, the owner and sales staff. Obviously, I highly recommend."
"Absolutely worst experience I’ve had. I brought diapers and breast milk bags in opened brand new to donate plus a couple outfits still had tags on them from my son who is a little to big for them, and the lady working today was so unbelievably rude. I don’t know her name but she does not deserve to work here. She said she doesn’t need cheap clothing and items in the store and I should not be such a cheap mother. I could not believe those words. I will never be back here. Ever! I spent my hard earned money as a single parent on my child’s things. And to have it just rubbed in my face that I’m a bad mom for not being able to afford more expensive items just ruined this day."
"The store smells clean, and everything looks organized. Don't expect to get a reasonable amount of money by selling. Today, I sold them a few sparkly dresses, sparkly overalls, a pair of shoes never worn, a jacket, and 2 baby equipment items in like-new condition. They offered $20 store credit, or less if I wanted cash. I browsed while waiting, and had a cart full of decently nice clothes for my daughter. I used the store credit, and still spent $20 more. I'm disappointed, because the shoes ALONE were worth $20. I understand they have to make a profit, but I was hoping for a bit more."
"Not really sure the rime or reason behind what they take and what they don’t - I have sold many big items to them and have never got top dollar but was always satisfied as donating leads to no money which I don’t mind but for bigger items I like to see some profit - clothing is a hit or miss what they take and I’m not sure their logic as they have taken some of less desirable items and left some big dollar items. From a shoppers prospective I feel some things are reasonably priced others not so much and as I said not sure the logic behind the pricing. Staff is always friendly to me though seems a little flighty at times but never the less very friendly and kind. Only negative is being a store called “children's orchard” I can never take my child in with me as she is 8 months and her car seat barley fits down the isles and shopping is a huge discomfort. The store is so over stocked I can only shop when she’s with my husband because the whole process becomes stressful. Fill a bag sales are great but the store was so full I didn’t have much time or space to check out all the regular priced items. Isles are so tight you can’t even see someone coming from the opposite side. Sundays are a great day it is much quieter. Only advice I have is if it’s going to be a Children's store then make it more accessible for small children in car seats etc."
