A few weeks before the wedding she yelled and screamed at me that I will never be happy and hung up on me....truthfully it was the second time I had complained that the bust still felt too big. Not really what a bride needs, added stress. BUT don't let that stop from going there, she is absolutely the best at what she does"

"My experience was a great one! Alexandra made my dress for my son's wedding. I told her what I wanted and she was able to see my vision and design and created it to perfection. She assisted me with getting the right material I desired and where to go to purchase the material. My dress was ready on time and I was proud to walk in the church as the Mother of the groom with my beautiful dress by Alex! Thank You!"

"This place deserves negative stars (google makes you pick a star). The owner of the place has zero respect for her customers! We were recommended to go here at the prom dress shop my sister got her prom dress. Alexandra seemed to have a good review and known to work on alterations for high clients on Newbury St. We figured the dress would be in good hands. We dropped off the dress on Monday. (First of all, when we walked into the place, it had a terrible/nasty smell) There were newspaper articles on her wall highlighting her "great" tailoring skills. Which was the only reason I held my nose and gave the Alexandra the dress. She said it would be ready that Friday, my sister needed the dress the following Friday. We figured this would give us enough time to take the dress to get it dry cleaned after. We go on Saturday, the sign in her window said "open." However, the door was locked and there was no body there. Maybe she was closed on Saturday? So we go back on Monday and finally meet her nasty attitude!! I go in Monday to pick up the dress at 2:30 PM. She told us the dress was not ready. I told her that she promised the dress would be ready last Friday (I was going back 3 days after). She IMMEDIATELY got UPSET AT ME, saying "DONT USE THAT TONE WITH ME! DONT QUESTION ME!" Are you kidding me? This is a business, there is no way someone providing a service gets angry at the customer when in fact it was their OWN fault! If she could not have the dress ready by the day she said, she could have the courtesy to call us and let us know! There was no call and NO NEED for her to yell! She literally shoved the dress back to us (the dress was not work on AT ALL- She had the dress for a whole week!). This is by far the worst experience/encounter I have ever had with anyone, ever! Don't be fooled by her glowing "Newbury st" work. To be frank, I think that is all made up to lure customers. STAY AWAY!"
