Reviews
"Went to buy a dress I saw in the window. When we walked in the two women at the counter just stared at us and continued to stare as we looked throughout the store. Never once said hi or asked if they could help with anything. So decided I’ll buy the dress online instead."
"Very rude. Store was closing at 6 pm and it was 5:55 and the woman working would not allow us in. Don’t know how they stay in business with that attitude. W"
"My wife finally found some decent dresses for a wedding. Staff was extremely helpful and honest with their suggestions. A great dress shop."
"It is unfortunate that I must share this unfavorable review of Miranda's on Main, as it was my go-to store for special occasions, special gifts, and more, in the two years that I've been living in Keene. Nevertheless, considering that Miranda's is a very expensive store, I think it's important that prospective customers are made aware of a particular return policy that Miranda's employs but wasn't conveyed to me before I made a particular purchase. I bought a dress, a simple but pretty and comfortable t-shirt dress, with a price tag of over $100. After following the cleaning instructions meticulously, the outcome resulted in damage to the fabric along both sides of the dress near the seams. To look at it, one would think that I bought a dress with visible defects. I returned to the store with the dress and was told that, though the same thing has happened to other customers who bought the dress, they could do nothing for me because the dress was made by an "artist" and what I deem as defective is really an imperfection resulting from the artistic process. They would not allow me to return the dress. To the best of my knowledge, artistic imperfection, as the result of the artistic process, is visible upon purchase. For example the bubbles, bumps, and variations in size in a set of handblown beverage glasses are artistic imperfections and are visible upon purchase. Had Miranda's conveyed this odd policy to me upon the purchase of this dress, I likely would not have spent over $100 to purchase it. This experience has soured me on Miranda's, as I found their response lacking in good will. I can only hope that the same damage doesn't occur to the other similarly fabricated, similarly priced dress that I had purchased, from their Peterborough store, by the same "artist.""
"I went there for a prom dress. I love it, it was super expensive! Everything is expensive, but I guess that's for being on main street."
