"Some of the best days of my life were at the Lansingburgh Boys and Girls club. Sports, friends, trips, education...the list goes on. They should have charged me rent, I basically lived there during my youth. Loved Joe, still love Mike !! This is a place where people care about the kids."

"I attended this club as a child. Through my personal experience, I highly recommend not bringing your children here. Why? Reason 1. One day I was very excited to go swimming! I was told by counselor Mike "spicks can't go swimming today". I was very confused what this meant as a child and later I asked my mom what that meant. She cried. Reason 2. My finger got caught in a door and was crushed. I asked for help from the counselors. Went to the bathroom by myself to treat the wound until the kind janitor saw me and helped. What's good about it? When I attended, there were so many arcade games my friends and I loved playing! Also loved checkers and lunch."
