"Called them to see if they would be open for 24hours. They said yes. I head down 10 minutes later, they are closing for the night. I wouldn't mind a more realistic time frame from them, however I work late shift and needed something to eat after work. Which i could not have since i planned for them to be opened. Which kind of soured my day afterwards. Perhaps they should pay better to get more workers."

"Would rate zero stars if I could. I was employed here for two weeks and was fired on the spot due to "customer complaints" while I had tried to be as polite and courteous in every situation. Now I find out that the employees are spreading some very hurtful rumors about things that never happened. The staff is so delusionally self-centered with goals like 'being a single mother' and there is always something broken whether it be the coffee station or some part of the register. It's a toxic work environment and I would not recommend it to anyone for employment or a place to shop at. For everyones sake drop the extra $1.43 for your coffee at Joe's."

"I prefer this store compared to the nearby 7-11. Most cashiers are friendly. I did however inquire about a job the other night and was told by an employee that this location is not hiring. A couple nights later I found the store closed around 2:00AM. I can only imagine that with a shortage of workers available in nearly every industry that this store was lacking a person for overnights on a Friday night. Why then wouldn’t this store want to fill that shift? I’m just really hoping that the store is indeed not hiring on new staff and that this has nothing to do with me being a fairly new, and ackward MtF transgendered individual. I’m sure the store has plenty of employees competing for hours and that this closed evening, again on a Friday evening starting at 11:00PM until 5:00AM Saturday. I mean my experience working at Cumberland Farms tells me that Friday and Satisfied evenings are very busy. Was not short staffed but closed so that the owner didn’t have to spend money on a low profit Friday evening and had nothing to do with my gender preferences…."
