"Very nice and spacious shop with a good selection of accessories and bikes. Staff are very nice and helpful. Went above and beyond to teach me basic bike maintenance for my bike. Definitely recommends"
"Cool store have some nice bikes. Staff very knowledgeable. JJ answered every question I had. I bought a nice frame bag and lights for my gravel bike. Will be back."
"Most underrated bike shop in NYC, super chill and friendly folk, they work on any bike, and help me setup up this one with new tires. Would be easy to see this as a weekly pit stop if you’re ever crossing the Pulaski going from Brooklyn into Queens or vice versa."
"Took my Specialized road bike here to have my handle bar changed to one with internal cable routing and also ordered a new stem, bar tape to be installed. They were having trouble getting the stem to the shop so I offered to try to acquire it myself and bring it to them but manager refused. They had my bike for 10 days and only worked on it the last day they had it. They were not able to do the job properly but still charged me full price for the labor. I guess they rushed it that’s why they chose to not route the shifting cables into the handlebars. I only found out about the “incomplete” job when I picked my bike up. Manager and chief mechanic were both feeding me lies and said I needed to upgrade to wireless shifting so the cables could be routed cleanly into the handlebars because my shifting cables had barrel adjusters. First of all, I did not need the barrel adjusters because both my rear and front mech had their own adjusters. They could’ve removed it but chose not to. They forced to wrap the cables with the bar tape without adjusting anything and the cables ended up squiggly which made my shifting sluggish. They also did a terrible job wrapping the handlebars with the new bar tape I bought from them. It was loose. Had to take it to a different bike shop for things to get properly sorted and they were able to do the job flawlessly. Yea sure they’re Specialized’s bike shop, but they are not it. These guys lie and take the easy route when the job is inconvenient. Go somewhere else. Also, one of their mechanics is very rude. Asked him about the ideal tire pressure for my new wheels and tires because it can vary depending on your setup and I wanted to hear his opinion. Instead of just giving me a proper answer, he told me with a condescending tone that it’s written on the side of the tire. First two photos are what they did and the other two is from the other shop who did an impeccable job. Even the other shop said these guys did a terrible job and should give me a refund. Oh also I did not get a single update about what’s going on with my bike unless I called. Terrible customer service and very unprofessional."
