"Apple store said my phone couldn’t be fixed. So as I was leaving I noticed this vendor. I asked him if he can fix an audio chip. He says yes, I asked is it a positive fix. He says I haven’t seen any come back as not fixed. Charged me $60 for down deposit. I said to him Apple says it can’t be fixed, he says they full of it. Two weeks later he calls me and says it can’t be fixed, so all I need to do pay $30 for parts and labor. I hired him to fix my phone, not try to fix it. No mention of a fail attempt charge of $ 30. Bait and switch"
