"A very positive experience! Highly recommend! I was looking for a new pair of shoes and preferred to go to a local store since buying online can be hit or miss, and I like to shop local whenever I can. I normally go to a really nice shoe store back home in NH and didn't realize we had an almost identical store right here in Southern Maine! I liked that they had many positive reviews and weren't a corporate chain, so I decided to check them out. I'm glad I did, as I was very impressed. We were immediately greeted by a friendly team member, Max, upon entering the store. In fact, all of the team members seemed very positive, so there were really good vibes overall. We were asked if we needed any help finding anything, and were given space to browse without feeling pressured. Max checked in here and there and was immediately available when I asked for help finding my size. There was a nice selection of shoes, and I ended up finding a pair that I really liked. Max was also very helpful in helping me look into a pair of Birkenstocks that I had my eye on. My size wasn't available in store and could only be custom ordered, and I was able to order a pair directly through Birkenstock! Had I not stopped in and had a chance to see them in person, I might not have ended up buying this other pair. Another benefit to going into a brick and mortar store vs. shopping exclusively online. Thank you, Max, for all of your help and your awesome customer service skills (which seem harder to come by these days)! We'll definitely be back in the future when it's time for another pair!"
