"What a disappointment! We booked the "special" Christmas brunch - available only 3 Sundays in December!" We expected decorations, live music, a beautiful room, SPECIAL! And what we got was the feel of a low-end chamber of commerce meeting in March. We will go to the Wentworth next year."
"For hotel accommodations not bad. As a restaurant, in general, there still needs to be work done. Myself and a couple locals lost our traditional breakfast spot to the local economic conditions and we've been searching for a replacement. We want a place that serves a sit down meal on a plate and that is open at 7:00 am. That's a hard get in Portsmouth. Especially the open at 7:00. Two-Fifty covers those bases. The downside is the food quality and the cost. The food is your typical Sysco foods fare that focuses on the least expensive, partially prepared food instead of quality raw food sourced locally. If the prices were lower or the food quality higher, this would be a gem. The wait staff are very attentive and professional. The restaurant is clean and the view is great looking out over the river. The only gripe is food quality for cost. If they could work on that, this would be much more than just a convenience for hotel guests. The last few weeks we've gone, there have only been a few others that stop for breakfast. Mostly hotel guests, of course. But this place could be filled up, at least on the weekends, with just a few tweaks."
"Sandwich was very tasty and the fries were hot and crispy. The blueberry crisp was amazing"
"Came to the Sheraton on a get away and decided to stay in and get food at the hotel restaurant. Let me tell you this did NOT disappoint! At first when I saw the price I was worried at almost $30 that it would not be worth the price. I was WRONG that piece of fish was huge. It was extremely fresh, flaky, and that crust was perfectly crispy. If I am ever up there again even if I don't stay at that hotel I may have to go there for the food"
"Nice restaurant inside the Sheraton hotel with breakfast and lunch/dinner options. Also available for room service. We had a nice breakfast watching a ship go through the bridge."
