Located at 52 Golf Course Lane in Hollis, Maine, The River Tap & Grill offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for guests to enjoy delicious food and drinks. With 110 seats inside and an additional 60 seats on the deck overlooking the scenic Saco River, patrons can relax and unwind while indulging in inventive dishes and refreshing beverages. "Love the location and the atmosphere!! The view of the Saco River from the outside patio with live music playing and good drinks is pretty epic!! Parking is super easy and that's a plus for me. Food is not horrible but not good. Very inconsistent. Sometimes it even leaves my stomach feeling angry or that could be too many drinks. Lol. Still love this place!!"
"They definitely have good food and good cocktails. But sitting at the bar might not have be the best idea for us. Unless you are a regular, it seems. Everyone would like to feel as if the bartender is happy you came in not just regulars. You could definitely tell the difference of attitude and service between customers. Next time we will definitely sit at a table and hope it's more comfortable."
"Ben here multiple times. Never disappointed Best nachos ever. The new winter menu is a home run. You have to try it. Worth every penny. The service is great from Angela to Sarah with an H Megan the bartender and the owners Steve & Juliet are all great. We do hope Dave comes back soon we miss him."

"We so appreciate the River Tap and Grill here in our little town. It's kinda the only thing we have, but it's obvious that they put great thought into the menu and overall atmosphere. They have a creative drink menu, and a diversity of choices on the food menu. Everything sounds really good, but I've found the food to be hit or miss unfortunately. If it's good, it's typically really good. I've never had anything "bad". Where I've had lesser great experiences with the food would be like the sauces on things were overkill, like on the brussel sprouts. In other cases the item just wasnt a wow. Especially because some of the prices are right up there with Portland restaurants. A few things I have enjoyed there are: Burgers: super good if done right Haddock bites Greek salad with salmon The interior is cozy and the deck has nice views. There is ample parking. The staff is always nice and personable."
